If you have not already done so I would invest in a CCTV system you can get a system off ebay for around £50 (for 2 cams , £60+ 4 cams) in 2017 ….plus you need to add a pc hard drive to this system (some come with hard drives but cost more)….(if you not got one from on old pc lying around then you can pick up a second hand one for about £10 -20 for a 500gb…..the guy in the video says his 160gb works ok ) as example

in the video he use a VGA monitor (again you can pick these up cheap second hand) but also these systems will plug it to a modern TV with a HDMI socket as well
